ABOUT Joumana Alkhani

My Story:
I’m a third-culture kid, from one place and grew up in four others. Though my Levantine roots run deep, and I am first and foremost a citizen of the Heart.
For most of my life I followed the traditional path: university, career, corporate life, until 2020 arrived and everything changed. I started practicing yoga when Covid hit, and it cracked something open within me. I started having a full-blown awakening. My beliefs and realities crumbled before me, and for the first time, I didn’t turn to my usual coping mechanisms. I actually listened to and faced it. And the opening opened.
Years later, I’m still learning, dying, being reborn, creating, and remembering. Intentional living has become the way I build, create, and move through life. Joumantra came to life as an extension of my being, first through candles in 2023, then officially in 2025 as a space to share my light, love, and creativity with others.
My life now is quite literally a dance between passion, purpose, and presence with whatever I do.
I’m asked where I see Joumantra going in a year or three or five. And as someone who once believed deeply in fixed realities and visions, I no longer subscribe to anything definite. What I can speak of is Joumantra right now: a platform I’ve created to grow further into myself and into what I love to do. And who knows where that’ll take me (and you!)
Why Joumantra Exists:
Joumantra began as a personal experiment for me to bring the inner shifts of my journey into form. Candles were the first expression. Then incense. Then balms. Then bath salts. Soon natural perfumes. And sound healing. And QHHT. And coaching. And channeling. Each offering emerged naturally as I learned to trust myself and share pieces of my own evolution.
Today, Joumantra is a house for intentional living. A space where people can explore themselves gently, honestly, and without pressure. It is both my creative home and my place of service.
What I Believe:
Healing is remembering who you are.
Presence is the foundation of change.
Intention shapes reality.
The body carries wisdom when the mind grows quiet.
Creativity is a spiritual expression our true nature.
Beauty is a form of clarity.
Love, in all its forms, is what we truly are.
